SOME OF OUR FAVOURITE LOCAL PUBS & RESTAURANTS

The Woolpack Warehorne

The Woolpack Warehorne

Church Lane, Warehorne, TN26 2LL

One of our favourite country pubs with rooms,  just 4 miles drive and we also love to walk here.

Lovingly restored in a beautiful setting. Lovely for a drink! The Woolpack is a beautiful 16th century Inn nestled in the peacefully picturesque village of Warehorne.  Part of the Pickled Egg Pub Company, who also own The Five Bells Inn in Brabourne, The Duke William in Ickham and The Radnor Arms in Folkestone, you'll find the Woolpack Inn located just opposite St Matthews Church and surrounded by grazing Romney Marsh sheep.

There's a wonderfully welcoming bar, comforting food and five characterful guest rooms for those looking to stay overnight.  Expect to see a varied menu with local Kentish produce with weekly specials and what's on events throughout the year .

Reservations for rooms & tables are always recommended and can be made via their website

A bit further to drive (20 mins) but a traditional pub with great food and great atmsphere. Wonderful sunset over the marsh from the front terrace, pretty beer garden on the military canal. Just as an English pub should be!

A traditional pub, with pub food but probably more a drinker's pub than a restaurant. A great 1 hour country/hike walk across fields and woodlands. Or 5 minute drive.
