Leeds Castle
Leeds Castle has been a Norman stronghold; the private property of six of England’s medieval queens; a palace used by Henry VIII and his first wife Catherine of Aragon and a variety of activities are on offer.
Go-Karting
Lydd is a very popular kart circuit as it is fast and demanding. There are an impressive number of events to choose from from simple arrive-and-drive right through to the longer team endurance events
South of England Rare Breeds
Great for children with a variety of activities as well as the rare breed animals. Great also for wet days. A charity supporting adults with disabilities. 8 minute drive from Green Farm.
Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway
A lovely miniature railway which was first open over 80 years ago. It is just 20 minutes' drive towards the coast. The line has miniature diesel locomotives, includes four stops and runs parallel with the coast.
The Kent & East Sussex Railway
"The Jewel of The Weald" for ten and a half miles, through the unspoilt countryside of the Rother Valley, to terminate in the shadow of the magnificent National Trust castle at Bodiam.
